videographer / editor / graphic designer / rotoscope animator / geek

Hello again, I’m Gerald

Some of my earliest memories were when my mom was recording home movies of me and my siblings playing in the front yard, and me constantly asking her if I could hold the camcorder. Fast forward to my life now, and it’s become my career!

I am a one-stop shop when it comes to videography (weddings & other events, interior design, architecture, client testimonials, etc), video editing, motion graphics, and I’ve been fortunate to have created partnered work with Coca Cola, Samsung, Target, the 2016 Rio Olympics, Piggly Wiggly supermarket, Dolcezza gelato, and others.

When Vine was still around, I experimented with rotoscope animation using just Vine and dry erase markers (no outside editing), and I did enough of it to the point of earning an “Editor’s Pick” from Vine in 2015, two “Armstrong Vine Awards” in 2016 for “Best Illusion” and “Grand Prize,” and a “Best Vine Artist” nomination for the 8th annual Shorty Awards.

Aside from all of my work and experiences under my belt, my biggest accomplishments to date are marrying my wife, Cynthia, raising our goofy bernedoodle, Wyatt, seeing the world together, buying our first home, and just enjoying our peaceful life in Raleigh, North Carolina. In my free time, I like to cook, play video games, practice piano, watch movies, tinker and modify electronics.
